Susie Chapman is also Chair of Membership Nurture, Director of Card Ministry, Acolyte Coordinator, Sunday School Superintendent, Committee on Finance member, and Adult Sunday School Teacher. Susie is a retired 4th Grade Teacher of The Plains Elementary.
Glenn Lackey is Chair of PPR. He is one of the owners and operators of The Red Bird Ranch and is very active in Farm Bureau. He is a member of the Athens Soil and Water Conservation District.
Treasurer Bonnie Carroll is also a Lay Leader, Jr. & Senior High Sunday School Teacher. She is a retired Social Worker for Athens County Children’s Services where she was director of an adoption program that won national honors. Currently she is a Sponsor of six Nicaraguan immigrants and is helping them adjust to life in the United States.
Lana Hines is also Treasurer of the Adult Sunday School Class, and is a Communion Steward. She is retired from People’s Bank.
Linda Lairson is Financial Secretary and also on the Nominations Committee. She is a retired teacher from Federal Hocking Schools
Bruce Lackey is Chair of the Trustees and Groundskeeper for our church. He works at Kroger’s and drives buses for Federal Hocking Schools.
Gary Willison is active on Building and Parsonage Trustees. He is a retired forester with Wayne National Forest. He directed wildlife protection on the Athens to Nelsonville bypass.
Karen Brozak is a Trustee, and is active in United Women of Faith. She has been Council Secretary and is Assistant Lay Leader.
Keith Lackey, Brian Lackey. Brian and Keith are also co-owners/operators of the Red Bird Ranch. Brian Works for ODOT and Keith for the Post Office
Chuck Carroll (chuckcarroll47@gmail.com) is our church Emergency Response Coordinator, Hocking River District Disaster Relief Coordinator and West Ohio Conference Disaster Training Team member.
Jane Hines is currently a member of PPRC . She has been PPR chair, Trustees Chair, Council Chair and is very active in all church projects. She owned the Columbus Road Deli and currently runs the office at Ohio State Optical.
As Lay Member of Annual Conference, Kathy Elasky is also on PPRC. She is currently secretary of Administrative Council and active in Women of Faith. She is also Chair of Membership/Nurture.
Rosie McAfee Coordinates all the Special Sunday Services. She works at Amesville Elementary and does wonderful Children’s Messages.
Paula Helsel is an accomplished pianist and coordinates Children’s Choir and organizes music for Sunday Worship. She is also Council Secretary.
Chuck Carroll chuckcarroll47@gmail.com is Technology Coordinator. He does the Sunday Power Points and Display Monitor over the stairs. He is a retired 5th grade teacher from Athens City Schools where he was also a technology coordinator. He is past Council Chair, Past PPR Chair, Past Trustees Chair, Play School Back-Up, and Co -Historian.
In addition to Asst Tech, Isaac Peyton is a student at Alexander High School and is active in Track and Cross Country.
Bill Elasky, Bill edits our Newsletter. Bill is our Membership Secretary and is on the Nominations Committee. He is Past President of the Federal Hocking School Board and a retired professor of Ohio University.
Kathy Elasky is Charge Lay Member and Lay Leader and also is a Supply Pastor at area churches. She is currently President of United Women of Faith at the district level.
Erin Lucas, our Youth Coordinator has also led many of our Visionings. She is Bible School Coordinator as well. Erin is Director of Early Childhood Programs at Hopewell Health
Hannah Lucas loves teaching the primary students. She is also on the Nominations Committee. She is a student at Federal Hocking High School. She plays Basketball and runs Track for Federal Hocking. She is the unofficial Spiritual Leader of Girls Basketball. She is assisted sometimes by her sister Emma.
Cassic Brozak is in charge of changing the Alter Cloths with the changing church seasons. Cassie is a cashier at Odd Lots.
